The Holy Apostle Titus
Today we celebrate the Holy Apostle Titus. Titus was baptized by St. Paul and subsequently worked with him in his evangelization efforts. St. Paul shows true affection for Titus in his letter to him, addressing the letter, "To Titus, my beloved son." St. Paul appointed him Bishop of Crete, where he eventually died of old age.
