Weekly Gospel Reflection
The Gospel reading from yesterday was Nathanael's and Jesus' encounter with each other, when Jesus tells Nathanael that He saw him under the fig tree. Before Jesus states that, He greets Nathanael with high praise and Nathanael responds, "How do you know me?". Nathanael's tone could have been skeptical or maybe he felt known just by being in our Lord's Sacred Presence. Place yourself as Nathanael...when you approach Christ in prayer and/or in the most Holy Eucharist, do you approach with skepticism or openness? Be honest with yourself and share this part of you with Jesus. He loves you either way.
