Dormition Fast Starts Thursday!
This Thursday starts the Dormition fast. We sing an Akathist to the Mother of God at Dormition Liturgy. It is a beautiful song and chant, honoring the woman who was raised body and soul into heaven. We encourage you to pray with the Akathist during this fast, to prepare and enter fully into Dormition, and to understand what we celebrate!Rejoice, O most joyful Mother of the King!
