Saints Cosmas and Damian
Today we celebrate the feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian. Saints Cosmas and Damian were twin brothers. They both became physicians and offered their services for free, which was radical for its day. This simple act led many people to the faith as they wanted to understand who would offer services expecting no payment.Saints Cosmas and Damian were both martyred, likely under the reign of Diocletian. Miracles were attributed to the men after their death.
