Today we celebrate the feast of the prophet Hosea. The prophet Hosea is remembered for writing his prophetic book of the same name. He writes about his marriage to Gomer, her unfaithfulness to him, and Hosea's command by God to take Gomer back. The book of Hosea shows the interplay between humans and the way they sin against each other and the way they sin against God.
