Father Michael is reading Community of Grace: An Orthodox Christian Year in Alaska by Mary Alice Cook. He summarized this book as, "A group of Orthodox Christians build and live in intentional Christian community up in suburban Alaska. Probably not possible at in LA, but what a beautiful idea! This is probably the closest to the Christian community in Acts of the Apostles that you will find nowadays, and it’s a similar idea to Father Joel‘s Cappadocian house proposal."
